Congratulations!  What an exciting time in your lives, planning a wedding with your One and Only.  Many ideas rush to mind as you consider what your special day will be like.  Church or garden, which season, how many attendants, food and cake choices, vows and........music!  Although most people consider organ or string quartets to be standards for weddings, we would like to suggest another option.  An option that is lovely, soothing and unique-- dulcimer music!  The very name dulcimer comes from the Latin dulce melos, meaning sweet music or sound.  The hammered dulcimer originated in Persia, nearly four thousand years ago and is the ancestor to our present day piano.  The Appalachian dulcimer is an uniquely American instrument, less than two hundred years old.  Played together they provide a charming sound that is usually described as peaceful.  Come visit us at www.dulcimerdreams.com to hear samples of our music and learn more.

And definitely go check it out - the music is beautiful!
