Have you thought about jazzing up your first dance by adding a few more people to the mix? How about adding your wedding party? The trend of wedding party dances has really caught on in the past few years. I’ve seen everything from dancing down the aisle to the alter to the first dance at the reception. These dances are a great way to incorporate the wedding party besides the actual ceremony. It also creates a fun atmosphere that involves your guests and gets them excited for the night ahead! Pick out some of your favorite songs to dance to and create a mix that is short and sweet. Use props such as sunglasses, boas, anything you can think of! Are you not a dancer? Or maybe you are intimidated by the thought of coming up with a routine for you and your wedding party…that’s okay! I’m sure all your guests know that you, your husband, nor your wedding party are professional dancers. Just have fun with it and create silly, fun dance moves. The important thing is the memories you create! This will certainly be something you and your husband look back on and smile about…and maybe even get a good laugh! All your guests will be surprised too!
There are plenty of wedding party dances on YouTube if you are in need of some inspiration. Or talk to your DJ…I’m sure they will have some ideas to help you get started! |
