One trend that I am really starting to love is the mixing and matching of bridesmaid dresses. Whether you opt for different styles, different shades, or different patterns, there are so many ways to make your bridal party really stand out!

A common trend amongst today’s bridal parties is outfitting your bridesmaids in different styles of dresses. Because girls are built differently, this allows for each of your bridesmaids to wear a dress that really flatters her figure. Not only does the mixing of styles add interest, but the mixing of shades can add some charm as well. Instead of having every girl dawn the exact same color, try complimentary shades or different hues of a certain color. Another trend that I have come across recently is having all of the bridesmaids match, while the maid of honor stands out. This can be achieved by having the maid of honor wear a patterned dress or one that is a slightly different color dress than the bridesmaids. If you really want to mix it up, have all of your girls dress in different patterns and fabrics! I find this look especially good for a retro or more vintage style wedding. By mixing and matching, you will add interest and appeal to your bridal party, allowing all of your bridesmaids to stand out in their own special way and better compliment the most gorgeous girl of all –the bride.
