Hello! Welcome to Behind Every Bride! I can barely put into words how excited I am to share this with you. What started out as a little spark of an idea over two years ago has caught fire and now you are holding the first edition in your hot, little hands! I hope you get as excited and inspired from reading it as I have been putting it together. First, let me introduce myself: I’m Sara O’Shea, the very proud Owner and Founder of Behind Every Bride, Inc. I also own So Chic Events, a wedding and event planning company here in Central Illinois. Our specialty is working with couples to make their weddings as fabulous and as unique as they are. As a wedding planner, I see my role with clients and vendors as being a “connector.” I connect the right vendors with the right clients. I also work to ensure that it’s a great partnership and everyone has an incredible experience. I believe assembling the right team of vendors is critical to having the type of wedding you envision – and that’s where Behind Every Bride comes in! Since it’s impossible to work with every single Central Illinois bride, I wanted to create a resource that would help connect brides with talented local vendors. Sure, there are other magazines and website directories out there, but this one has something unique: a completely local focus. In Behind Every Bride, we will give you the information you need to make selecting the right vendors simple. We also will showcase fabulous weddings that are happening throughout all of Central Illinois. There are some stylish and sophisticated wedding tastes out there and we’ve got the talented vendors to pull them off! So, sit back, relax, and get inspired.
